The Big League Hot Dog Company showcases its famous Fried Hot Dog prepared in a number of different ways, including the Chili Dog, Kraut Dog, Chicago Dog and the traditional Carolina Dog, which is made with homemade chili and slaw. The menu also offers a fresh Angus Burger, Bratwurst, Kielbasa and an Italian Sausage all finished on the charbroil grill. The French Fry lineup includes Chili Cheese, Garlic, Buffalo and the Original Big League Fries. All Fries are hand cut, fried twice in the Belgian Fry tradition and cooked to order. We also hand cut and fry kettle chips which are sold by the bag. Sweet Potato Fries, Onion Rings and Fried Pickle Spears are great alternatives. For something different, try the Italian Beef Sandwich, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Basket "Catch" Fish and Chips, and the Shrimp Basket. For vegetarians there is the Cactus League Bean Burger and a Kid’s Meal for the smaller appetite. And if that isn’t enough, finish up with Fried Brownies, Bananas Foster, or Cheesecake for a sweet ending.

Big League fans can choose their meals from the large replica Wrigley Field scoreboard menu and then "step up to the plate" to order at the home plates in front of the registers. Take your seat at the counter box seats, in the locker room, the outside bullpen patio area or in the restaurant's dugout and enjoy your meal. There are 48 seats inside and an additional 16 on the patio. Customers can wait for their teammates on four stadium seats on the front walkway. These authentic seats were salvaged from Baltimore's old Memorial Stadium, the predecessor of the ballpark at Camden Yards, when it was demolished.

The Big League Hot Dog Company features vintage baseball décor, with numerous pictures of the Mooresville Moors, the local minor league team that played in Mooresville, NC between 1937 and 1953. The enlarged images of the Moors recall an era in many small North Carolina towns when summer evenings were spent at the ballpark rooting for the local baseball heroes. The Moors played in the old North Carolina State League, which included towns in the Piedmont Region. Photos of the Lexington, NC and Hickory, NC teams, which were North Carolina State League foes, and Davidson College are also displayed in the restaurant.

The Big League Hot Dog Company is owned and operated by Jeff and Nancy Spielman, recent transplants from the cold north. The Spielmans relocated from New Hampshire where they were loyal members of Red Sox Nation. Red Sox player portraits and a foul pole with a 302 ft. marker on the wall are reminders of the owners' allegiance to the Sox. But, the owners are avid fans of baseball on all levels and they welcome other fans of all persuasions, including just old fashioned hot dog and sausage fans. During the season, the three plasma TVs in the restaurant are tuned to major league baseball whenever games are available on the Direct TV MLB package.
